If you want to get out of the city for a day trip, Stonehenge is the place to go.  It takes about 3 hours to get there, but the trip is well worth it.  Anderson Tours gives you several different day trip options, including Stonehenge and Bath.  Their prices are very reasonable, the tour guides are knowledgeable and very organized with each excursion.  We paid £45 ($88 US Dollars) and were very pleased with our day trip.  

The city of Bath is set against the beautiful landscape of the English countryside. Every building in the town is built of limestone and there is a photo opportunity around every corner. While visiting Bath you must stop by Sally Lunn’s restaurant for lunch. Make sure you try their famous buns and delicious chocolate. The historical bath site is also very interesting. You can opt to go through the site alone or with an audio guide.

This weekend getaway is one that you will never forget. And for the cheap price, and beautiful bus ride it is definitely a steal.
